On Monday 10th November, a group of our Year 11 students visited the University of Chichester.
This was a great opportunity for them to get thinking about future academic, vocational and career pathways. Our students learned about different courses on offer, entry requirements, student social and extracurriular life, support available, and much more.

They were also given a tour of the campus, seeing academic areas such as lecture theatres and labs, social areas such as the student union and cafeteria, and sports facilities. It was an eye-opening experience that gave them a taste of university life and all that it has to offer.

Our students also had the chance to spend a few hours exploring the beautiful city of Chichester, observing the historic cathedral, looking round the variety of independent and chain shops available, and, of course, having some delicious food for lunch!

We hope that our students had a great experience and learned lots of useful information. They represented us incredibly well by asking interesting and thoughtful questions, and listening attentively to university staff members. It is never too early to start thinking about future pathways!
We are already looking forward to taking another group of Year 11 students on a university trip later on in the year.
