120 of our most able Year 10 and 11 mathematicians recently took part in the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge.
Results for this are now in, and our students have achieved some incredible feats.
Evie C (Year 11) attained a fantastic score that left her only four marks away from qualifying for the Olympiad round. Evie and two other gold-earning students, Jack S-S and Emily S (both Year 11) all qualified for the next ‘Pink Kangaroo’ round in March. There were also gold certificates for Dylan O (Year 10), Eddie H Year 11), Kane H (Year 11), Roscoe L (Year 11) and Storm D (Year 11).
Alongside this, a large number of our students achieved Bronze and Silver level certificates in recognition of their outstanding mathematical ability.
Well done to all involved. It is amazing to see crucial maths skills being developed and pushed beyond limits.
