We were delighted to receive a wonderful feedback email from a member of the public this week regarding one of our students.
Alfie E (Year 10) was praised for the care and consideration he showed towards an elderly member of our community, who took a fall as Alfie was walking home from school.
Alfie phoned for an ambulance and relayed all important and relevant information to the various people in attendance afterwards.
Alfie remained with the lady who fell until paramedics took over, even when local neighbours arrived to provide assistance and his friends had to return home.
What an outstanding member of the Ryde community Alfie is! His actions that day clearly reflect our student values of compassion, respect and responsibility. It is incredible to see our students showing such consideration for the people around them, even when they are strangers.
Well done, Alfie. You are a credit to yourself, your family, and our school. We are very lucky to have you!
