A wet and windy afternoon didn’t stop the Island Schools from coming together for the Cross Country Championships last Tuesday.
All students ran incredibly well, especially given the challenging conditions. Everyone completed the full course, and despite the muddy terrain, managed to stay on their feet!
We had two standout performances: Leo finished an impressive 2nd place out of over 40 Year 7 boys, and Darcey placed 4th out of more than 20 Year 8 girls.
Well done to everyone who took part, we are very proud of your determination, resilience and effort throughout.
